Topsy Turvy (1999) short review

The “story” behind Gilbert and Sullivan’s Mikado. Funny, witty, with some good bustle gowns and beautiful Japonesque costumes. Not my favorite Mike Leigh film nor my favorite costume film, but good.

In the summer of 2014, she published a book on 18th-century wig and hair styling. Kendra is a librarian at a university, specializing in history and fashion.
