The Golden Bowl (2000) short review

Unfortunately tedious and uninspired — a sad statement for a Merchant Ivory production!  Of course it’s visually beautiful, but watch it with the mute button on.

A rare case I don’t love a Merchant-Ivory film I would recommend more the 1972 BBC mini-series is not as gorgeous but is pretty and tells the story better
