The French Lieutenant’s Woman (1982) short review

Meryl Streep, Jeremy Irons — what more can you say? Based on the novel, this tells the story of an outcast woman in mid-19th century England and the man who befriends her, as well as the modern actors playing these characters in a film. It makes more sense when you see it.
