  2. And alas, Em’s travelling suit got its brilliant color from the use of Scheele’s Green to dye the cloth a fabulous green, and Em shortly thereafter died from arsenic toxicity. Nevermind that Susan’s uncle was an importer of dyestuffs from Europe. Purely coincidental.

  3. What is it about Angela Lansbury? Was she just born looking like a 30-something madame? I adore her in the some way I do Maggie Smith; they’re famous in the States for older-lady roles, but they’ve both been working hard all their lives and both have so much range.
