I’d like to make this outfit for my husband, though it’s not a period we do… yet. I think it’s so attractive, being all sober and businesslike, rich but understated. The dark colours, the silk, fur, the blackworked shirt – hubby would look gorgeous in it, and there would be a lot of fun techniques used in putting it together. Of course I’d need an outfit to match…. “
