Elinor Dashwood (from the good one with Emma Thompson no less?) Sweet! I’d love a big sister like her! (Would that make me Marianne? Would that mean I got to marry Colonel Brandon? Because I am 100% okay with that, too.)

Elinor as well. I’m the older sister in my family, so I’d be happy to have a cool older sister.

I just reread Queen Lucia and conc!luded it would be perfectly possible too be besties with Emmeline Lucas. She’s an egoist and poseur but she only gets nasty if you threaten her image or her authority. Humour her little pretences and she purrs and is sweet as saccharine. And probably will be happy to loan you hats.

Mapp on the other hand is a genuinely unpleasant person.

Same here. My oldest sister was going through a difficult adolescence, and my parents thought they should name me after someone sweet-tempered.

  2. Frannie Germeshausen

Emmeline Lucas! I can hear her voice in my head sometimes. Awesome.

  3. M.E. Lawrence

Elinor’s mine. Interesting…considering some aspects of my FOO (family of origin), she is exactly what I need.

  4. Kaite Fink

Caroline Bingley! I guess I need someone to have a bitch-fest with once in a while. Though I’m not certain she’s really best friend material, especially if she bitches about me!

  5. Anisha Greenwood

I got Melanie Hamilton…….I can guarantee she would not like me at all lmaoooo

  6. Sonick

Caroline Bingley from Pride and Prejudice :-D Ok, I’m suprised, but why not…i love to be snarky :-)

  7. Cheryl from Maryland

Millie Harcourt — smart, quippy, decisive, outgoing, courageous, resilient, snappy dresser, has lots of male friends. Yes, SCORE!
